On February  22, 2017  the Minister of Education of Armenia Levon Mkrchyan awarded the Ministry’s highest honor, the Gold Medal to Junior Achievement of Armenia’s Executive Director Armine K. Hovannisian and Program Coordinator Anahit Manoukyan.   

The Minister underscored the importance of JAA’s work as a pioneer in  financial education, entrepreneurship and civic education.   “Junior Achievement of Armenia stands out among the NGOs in quietly  and plausibly entering the education sphere of Armenia and fulfilling a gap in our curriculum.  Because of their persistence and dedication, they were able to realize  a  very important and visible work”, stated the Minister.    Mrs. Hovannisian in turn thanked the Minster for his firm support of the program  and named her staff members one by one for sharing the award with them.
