Dear Partner,
Based on the results of the pilot project implemented in a number of schools of the Republic in the previous academic year, the RA Ministry of Education and Science is introducing a component of business education integrated in the subject of "Technology" for the 2nd and 3rd graders throughout the nation starting September 2018. In the framework of the project, Junior Achievement of Armenia (JAA) will train the teachers. The assessment of the pilot program showed that it is more effective if the subject is taught by the homeroom teachers.
On June 25, 2018 the Minister of Education and Science Arayik Harutyunyan, Deputy Minister of Education Lusine Arakelyan and Ministry representative Syuzanna Makyan met with over 130 teachers from all regions of Armenia to assess the entrepreneurship component of the Technology subject being taught to 2nd and 3rd graders.
